GAAAAHHH WE LOVE OUR STORIED COMMUNITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gabby and I were just debriefing our group zoom hang today and were BLOWN AWAY by how life-giving and energising it was for our faith.
Some of the things you folks discussed will be percolating in our over-caffeinated brains for the rest of the day:
How the story of Gideon is the story of God’s patience with our doubts. How he sits with us and waits for us to catch up to the calling he has placed on our lives without rushing us.
How to reconcile the fact that the Christian community can often be passionately certain about COMPLETELY OPPOSITE perspectives and how to walk through that with grace and discernment.
How to create room for our curious Enneagram 5’s in a church that loves the solution oriented and practical numbers!
How to avoid destructive language in the church - boxing people into caricatures and defining them in ways that are unhelpful
How to value struggling and wrestling with God as the way to a vital and meaningful relationship with God.
…there’s too much to list here!
What we were just wondering is, are there any people in your life that you left the chat thinking, “Man I wish she had heard that.” or “He would have had something incredible to say in response to that.”?
Is there someone out there who needs to be a part of this community but doesn’t know it yet?
Or can’t afford another subscription?
If so, we’ve got options.
Firstly, we never want money to be a barrier to our ministry…especially not 5 bucks.(Which no longer even covers a decent cup of coffee in East Nashville - horrifying!)
Just email us and we’ll comp literally anyone a free year of all access Storied membership.
But secondly, we know for a fact that our community is generous and knows that art and words have real value and are worth something. (Also the babysitters we hire to create space for this project are not quite as altruistic!).
If you want to be awesome and gift a subscription - tis (almost) the season after all - it would support our ministry and help carry us through the entertainment industry drought we’re caught in for the next while. If that’s you click the button below and you can make someone’s day.
We are flying high on the good endorphins of our time together.
Here’s to new connections becoming old friends ,
Chris and Gabby
thank you for how welcoming and heart-warming you’ve been! I just loved how authentic and honest you were today and from someone who still didn’t find the courage to talk, I completely felt affection and solidarity from this community!
Absolute joy to join with what felt
like such old and dear friends. 😊
